Duo Take On Abseil Challenge For Charity

Two adventurous employees from Chester-based ACF Car Finance Limited are gearing up to abseil their way down a 250 ft building for charity.

Daring duo, Nicole Davies, 23 and Jane Whittle, 25, who both work for the company's Marketing Department on Chester Business Park, are hoping to reach a £500 joint fundraising target when they take part in the charity abseil on Sunday 27 September in Leeds.

The pair will descend 25 floors from the city's landmark Opal 3 building, with proceeds from the event being donated to BEN, the automotive industry charity which provides care and support to employees and their dependants in times of need.

Marketing Executive, Nicole, commented: "I'm delighted to be taking part in a charity event for BEN and helping to raise awareness of the charity. The Opal 3 building in Leeds has a very impressive skyline and both Jane and I are looking forward to taking on the challenge.

"We would like to thank all our colleagues, friends and family who have offered their support and donations so far and hope our efforts will encourage people to donate further so we can reach our fundraising target of £500."

BEN currently offers help, support, financial assistance and advice to over 15,000 people in their own homes every year. The fund also provides a home to over 350 disabled and elderly people in one of four nursing and residential centers.
