What is the credit repair?

At ACF Car Finance we don’t dwell on past credit problems. We look forward to seeing you drive away in the car of your choice on the day of your appointment. What’s more, you could quickly and easily re-establish your credit profile when you buy a vehicle from us, by simply making your credit repayments in full and on time every month.

Responsible lending

As we only work with responsible lenders we ensure that all finance applications go through a sound and proper credit assessment. The assessment may look at some or all of the following:

• your income:
• your existing and future credit commitments and your ability to repay the loan:
• how you have handled your finances in the past:
• information from credit reference agencies: and
• with your permission, information from other people for example your employer or any other referee.

A credit scoring system, if used, where used, gives points for each piece of relevant information and adds these up to produce a score.

Your personal details including name, address and date of birth will also be verified. Proof of identity is required to prevent fraud and money laundering.
